XZD ARINC 653 Scheduling App Released
DornerWorks is excited to announce the public availability of source code and instructions that make it more convenient to use the ARINC 653 scheduler on XZD. Previously the only way to use the ARINC 653 scheduler was to write a custom program, which made use of the ARINC 653 scheduler API provided through libxc. With this release the scheduler can be configured with a simple command line tool. The source code and instructions can be downloaded at https://github.com/dornerworks/a653_sched . While the current build only works for XZD, it can easily be ported to other Xen based systems.
A lot of embedded product developers struggle with the learning curve surrounding the technology needed to isolate different software applications on today’s powerful multicore processors. The Xen Zynq Distribution (XZD) is our solution to this problem for the Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC. XZD provides the platform that such complex products need, and those developers can implement their products without worrying about the complexity. Click here to learn more about XZD.
